New figures from the UAE’s Ministry of Interior revealed that 7,000 fines were given out last year for noise violations. More than 3,000 of those were related to car horns and blasting loud music, while around 4,000 violations were linked to vehicles causing excessive noise, due to illegal engine modifications or reckless driving habits.
